Kiwido Privacy Policy

Last updated August 12, 2026. Developer: Studio Spreza.

This policy explains how the Kiwido app handles information on your device and when it uses the internet. By using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Summary

Kiwido shows your calendar and reminders in one week view. The app requires access to both to work. Most processing happens on your device. Studio Spreza does not operate its own servers that store your calendar or reminder content.

Data on your device

  • Calendar and Reminders. The app reads and writes events and reminders through Apple EventKit. Tasks and events you create go to your Apple Calendar and Reminders, not to a separate Kiwido database. That data stays under your Apple ID and within Apple's systems. The app does not send your calendar or reminder content to servers controlled by Studio Spreza.
  • Local storage. Older versions of Kiwido kept their own task board on your device. If you used one of those versions, the app moves those entries into your Apple Calendar and Reminders the first time you open this version, and keeps nothing of them afterwards. Deleting the app may remove any remaining local data according to iOS behavior.
  • Settings. Preferences such as appearance, weather options, calendar defaults, and any on-device theme state are stored on the device.

Optional location, for weather and place search

If you enable weather or use current location, the app may access your approximate or precise location once you grant When In Use permission. Location is used for app functionality. Studio Spreza does not sell your location.

Coordinates may be sent over the network for forecasts and place labels. Forecast requests go to Open-Meteo. When you use current location for weather, coordinates may also go to OpenStreetMap Nominatim to turn coordinates into a short place name.

Network services

The app may connect to the internet for the following, and nothing else.

  • Weather. Open-Meteo over HTTPS, for forecasts only, using coordinates for the location you chose or your current location. The app does not use Apple Weather or WeatherKit for forecasts.
  • Place names. OpenStreetMap Nominatim over HTTPS, to turn coordinates into a short place label when you use current location for weather.
  • Map search. When you search for a city, address, or point of interest, the app uses Apple MapKit. Those queries are handled under Apple's terms and systems, not on servers operated by Studio Spreza.
  • Holiday information. Wikimedia and Wikipedia APIs over HTTPS, to load summaries and images for optional holiday detail content. Attribution appears in the app where that content is shown.

What Studio Spreza does not do

  • No Studio Spreza account. No sign-up, no login, no profile.
  • No Studio Spreza server holding your app data.
  • No analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDKs in the app.
  • No tracking. The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not use App Tracking Transparency for that purpose.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

If any of this changes, this policy will be updated and the App Store privacy labels will be updated with it.

Your choices

  • Calendar and Reminders. Grant or revoke access in Settings, under Privacy and Security. The app requires this access for its core week board, so revoking it stops the app from working.
  • Location. Grant or revoke in Settings. You can search for a city instead of sharing your precise location.
  • Weather. You can turn weather off during setup or later in settings.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed specifically at children under 13. If you believe information has been collected that should be removed, contact us at the address below.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top changes when we do. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
