Help for Kiwido, Upkeeper and Bountiful. If something here does not answer your question, email hey@studiospreza.com.
Writing to us
These details make a reply faster:
- Which app, and whether it is on iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch.
- The device's system version, from Settings under General, then About.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.
Please do not send your calendar, reminders or records unless we ask for a specific part. None of the apps has a Studio Spreza account, so we cannot look anything up on our side.
Kiwido
- Kiwido needs Calendar and Reminders. It shows your own events and reminders, so it waits until it has access to both. If it stays on that screen, open Settings, then Privacy & Security, and set Kiwido to Full Access under Calendars and under Reminders. On a Mac, the same switches are in System Settings.
- Where new items go. Tasks and events you create go to Apple Reminders and Apple Calendar, not to a separate Kiwido database, so they appear in Apple's apps too. If your device has no calendar or list Kiwido can write to, the item is kept on the Kiwido board instead of being lost, and the app tells you where it went.
- Alerts. Kiwido's alerts and morning summary are off until you turn them on in the app. If they stop arriving, check that notifications are allowed for Kiwido in Settings and that Background App Refresh is on, which Kiwido uses to keep upcoming alerts queued.
Upkeeper
- iCloud sync. Upkeeper syncs your records across your own devices through your private iCloud account. It is on by default, and you can turn it off in the app's Settings. If a change does not appear on another device, check that both are signed in to the same Apple ID with iCloud turned on.
- A copy of your records. In Settings, under iCloud Sync, you can export a copy (a file Upkeeper can restore) or export for a spreadsheet (CSV).
- Restoring a copy only adds. Items you are missing come back with their history, and existing items gain only logs they did not have. Nothing you already have is changed or removed, and restoring the same copy twice adds nothing. Restored items come back with reminders off, so turn on the ones you want.
Bountiful
- iCloud sync. Bountiful syncs across your own devices through your private iCloud account. It is on by default, you can turn it off in the app's Settings, and Settings shows which mode it is running in under Storage.
- A copy of your practices. In Settings, under Storage, you can export a copy (a file Bountiful can restore) or export for a spreadsheet (CSV).
- Restoring a copy only adds. Practices you are missing come back with their history, and existing practices gain only entries they did not have. Nothing you already have is changed or removed. Restored practices come back with nudges off.
Your data
There is no Studio Spreza account and no Studio Spreza server holding what you enter. Kiwido keeps your events and reminders in Apple Calendar and Reminders. Upkeeper and Bountiful keep your records on your device and, if sync is on, in your own iCloud.
- Deleting an app removes its on-device data according to iOS behavior. Deleting Kiwido leaves your events and reminders in Apple's apps.
- Removing synced data. For Upkeeper or Bountiful, you can remove the app's data from iCloud in Settings, under your Apple ID, then iCloud storage.
Privacy
Each app has its own policy: Kiwido, Upkeeper and Bountiful.
