Upkeeper Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Upkeeper app handles information on your device. By using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Summary
Upkeeper is a ledger for recurring upkeep. You record the things you look after and log when you last took care of them, and the app learns the rhythm. Everything you enter is stored on your device. Studio Spreza does not operate servers that hold your data, and the app makes no network requests of its own.
Data on your device
- Your upkeep records. The actions you create, the logs you record against them, and the rhythm the app derives from those logs are stored on your device.
- Settings. Preferences such as appearance, notification choices, and on-device display state are stored on the device.
- Companion surfaces. If you use the Home Screen widget or the Apple Watch app, they read the same data on your own devices.
Optional iCloud sync
Upkeeper can sync your data across your own devices using CloudKit and your personal iCloud account. This is optional and it is off unless you turn it on.
When it is on, your data is stored in your private iCloud database under your own Apple ID. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy and terms. Studio Spreza has no access to that database and cannot read your synced data. If iCloud is unavailable, the app continues to work on-device.
Optional notifications
Upkeeper can send gentle reminders when something may need attention again. These are local notifications scheduled on your device by Apple's notification system. No notification content is sent off your device, and there is no push server. You can turn notifications off in the app or in Settings.
Network use
The app makes no network requests of its own. It has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party services embedded in it. The only data that leaves your device is the iCloud sync described above, which goes to your own Apple account, and only if you enable it.
What Studio Spreza does not do
- No Studio Spreza account. No sign-up, no login, no profile.
- No Studio Spreza server holding your app data.
- No analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDKs in the app.
- No tracking. The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not use App Tracking Transparency for that purpose.
- We do not sell your personal information.
If any of this changes, this policy will be updated and the App Store privacy labels will be updated with it.
Your choices
- iCloud sync. Turn it on or off in the app. You can also manage iCloud for Upkeeper in Settings under your Apple ID.
- Notifications. Turn them off in the app or in Settings.
- Your data. Deleting an item removes it from the app, and deleting the app removes its on-device data according to iOS behavior. If you used iCloud sync, you can also remove Upkeeper's data from your iCloud account in Settings.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed specifically at children under 13. If you believe information has been collected that should be removed, contact us at the address below.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top changes when we do. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
